Online Therapy for Adults and Couples • California • Puerto Rico • Louisiana • Florida
You don’t need all the answers. Just somewhere to start.
Online therapy for adults and couples that’s honest and collaborative—because good therapy should feel like a conversation, not a performance.
Understanding what’s happening is one thing. Understanding what’s underneath is another.
We’ll get curious about the things that keep showing up—where they came from, why they make sense, and whether they still work for you. Not because everything needs to be fixed, but because understanding yourself gives you more room to decide what stays, what changes, and what comes next.
COUPLES THERAPY
Relationships can get stuck in patterns that are hard to change from the inside. Therapy can help you understand what keeps happening between you, communicate differently, and find a way forward together.
INDIVIDUAL THERAPY
Sometimes you know something isn’t working, even if you can’t quite name what needs to change. We’ll make sense of what’s happening, what’s underneath it, and what you want to do differently.
AREAS OF FOCUS
Some experiences deserve a little more context. I offer therapy that considers the particular ways ADHD, relationships, identity, midlife, and hormonal changes can show up in the lives of women and men.
Maybe it’s one thing. Maybe it’s more.
-
Maybe you've always known you have ADHD. Maybe you're only beginning to suspect it, after years of wondering why things that seem easy for everyone else take so much effort.
ADHD isn't just about focus and organization—it shows up in relationships, emotions, overwhelm, motivation, and the exhausting work of trying to keep it all together. Therapy can help you make sense of how your brain works without treating you like a problem that needs to be fixed.
-
Your mind is always three steps ahead — replaying conversations, anticipating what could go wrong, trying to think your way into certainty. Anxiety can look like overthinking, irritability, perfectionism, avoidance, or never quite feeling settled. Therapy can help you understand what's driving it and find ways to respond differently — without expecting you to just stop thinking.
-
You don’t have to have had a terrible childhood for it to still show up in your life. The ways you learned to handle conflict, closeness, emotions, responsibility, or other people’s needs can follow you into adulthood. Therapy can help you understand where those patterns came from, what they once did for you, and whether they still fit the life you have now.
-
Some emotions hit hard. Others get pushed down, talked around, or ignored until they show up somewhere else. Maybe you get overwhelmed, shut down, snap, overthink, or have trouble figuring out what you’re feeling in the first place. Therapy can help you understand your emotional patterns and build more choice into what happens next.
-
Relationships have a way of bringing our patterns to the surface. Maybe you keep having the same argument, struggle to say what you need, pull away when things get hard, or find yourself wondering how you got here again. Therapy can help you understand what happens between you and the people you love—and what you want to do differently.
-
Sometimes the version of you that worked for years suddenly…doesn’t. Midlife and hormonal changes can affect mood, attention, relationships, sleep, confidence, and your sense of who you are. Therapy can give you somewhere to sort through what’s changing, what actually matters to you now, and what you want this next part of your life to look like.
-
You can spend years building a life and still reach a point where you’re not quite sure who you are in it anymore. Roles change. Relationships shift. You build a life somewhere new. What you want changes, too. Therapy can give you room to figure out who you are now—and what actually feels like you.
You don’t have to be good at therapy. You just have to show up.
A LITTLE INTRODUCTION
I've always been curious about people. Why we do what we do, how we end up where we are, and why some things make absolutely no sense until you know the rest of the story.
Therapy with me is conversational, curious, and collaborative. We can take what's happening seriously without making every conversation feel serious. There's room here for honesty, questions, humor, frustration, uncertainty—and whatever else happens to show up.
I’m Maegan Jones, LCSW, ADHD-CCSP—the therapist behind Clara Psychotherapy.
THE CLARA EXPERIENCE
Intentionally small. Genuinely personal.
Clara is a small, independent therapy practice by design. I keep my caseload limited so there's room for thoughtful, individualized care and a relationship that doesn't feel rushed.
Some clients prefer a standing weekly appointment. Others need the flexibility to schedule different days and times. Both work here.
Because real life doesn't always happen on Tuesdays at 2.
